We are kindly asking that if you do not need to be out, please DO NOT attempt to travel in the current conditions. Between the freezing rain yesterday and the snow today, the road conditions are a safety risk. City staff has been working hard since yesterday on the roads and they continue that work today, but are fighting an uphill battle with the rate of snowfall. Keeping vehicles off the road will not only reduce your risk, but will help the plow trucks to complete their tasks in the current low visibility environment without competing for space on the roadways.
